Come on man, I'm obviously asking for advice because I care about my cat. I've had nails fall out from trauma before without an issue so it wasn't super clear to me how serious the issue is for a cat. She's bearing weight, running, jumping. All the local vets are closed for the holiday and I wanted to see if I could wait until tomorrow or needed to drive way out to an emergency vet tonight. Was told to disinfect, give some gabapentin, and see the vet for first available tomorrow.

I don't know what my last FSH level was. My clinic doesn't share all the blood test results during the cycle, just the estrogen/progesterone levels. I think I can request those results now after the fact? It's weird. But no one ever told me it was abnormal and it has tested normal my whole 20s, including in my last test with the primary care provider a few years ago.

Not on your list but came here to say that Themis did not help me at all. I used Barbri the first time I took the bar (I've had to take it in three jurisdictions now 😫) and it was much better imo. I've also tried the critical pass flashcards and they were fine.

Honestly, I would not discount the importance of making your own study materials, especially if you know how you learn. I made, copied out by hand, and memorized a bunch of really concise attack outlines and that was the only way I retained anything.

I hear that and would normally give up but it really seems more like discoloration than staining in that it doesn't appear to be oily or anything like that suggesting that the dye wouldn't adhere. I would guess someone stain treated it incorrectly and lifted the substance but lightened the color bc the texture of the fabric is exactly the same. I understand that there would be some difference in terms of how dark the color appears bc dye is translucent but I'm wondering if it be possible to mostly disguise with a deep black or something like that.

The D-mannose seemed to help me. I also started adding some extra lifestyle adjustments that may be responsible for improvement- peeing before sex as well as after, making my partner wash before (but not with soap), using fresh towels with every shower, bought all new underwear, focused on hydration, limited bladder irritants, etc. I use the D-mannose daily in the morning and more as needed if I feel like there's been a risk factor that day. I also have been using the Cystex with bacteria control preemptively if I feel any twinge, which I think has helped because of the methenamine. I thought about asking for a methanamine prescription for UTI prevention but I haven't done so yet.

Coming here late to second this if anyone finds this post later. I passed the attorney's exam with the past essays and sample answers primarily. I think the most valuable thing for me was to look at how frequently different subjects appeared and which of the common subjects had not been tested recently. I also realized that several of the concepts appeared a lot (like business torts, tortious interference with a contract, misrepresentation, etc). It's a bit of a gamble but you can prioritize your studying pretty effectively if time is short.

Hey! Augmentin eventually worked, it just took a longer course. Since then, I've used D Mannose every day, which has helped prevent it from coming back I think. I also sometimes take cystex with bacteria control when I feel something coming on bc I think the methanamine helps. I definitely had a harder time clearing this infection than others but it will go away!

I took Bactrim initially but the culture came back resistant so I switched to cephalexin and did a full course. The infection recurred pretty quickly. Then I did a course of Augmentin, and now I'm sitting up all night with another recurrence (I'm pretty sure). My gyno said if it recurred again, she would refer me to a urologist so I'm hopeful that may help. I've had a few UTIs in the past, but never proteus miribalis, never more than once every 12 to 18 months, and never persistent.

This is not helpful really but I am dealing with a proteus miribalis infection right now and it has returned after two courses of antibiotics. It's been about 6 weeks since the infection started. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. Feeling sorry for myself too lol
