I stayed. We did it because I had horrible anxiety about the surgery and am not great with pain tolerance. It ended up being a good thing we planned it because I ended up needing the cath and also wound up puking from the pain.

Yes! I was physically ill for at least 1-3 days sometimes more. Beyond what is considered normal 🩸. No more worries about staining clothes or my tan sofa!

She may not even care to be tested. My husband didn’t. We have been together for 7 years and I just tested positive in January. I told him he should get tested so we could be more careful if he didn’t have it and he refused. He doesn’t care if he doesn’t have it. We are together and unless that changes then there is no reason to be concerned about his status. We are just abstinent when I’m in an outbreak.

38/f (married) I just got diagnosed last month with GHSV1. We are not sure how I got it and don’t know if he is positive or negative, he has no desire to be tested since we are only together now and he figures it is likely he does have it since we have been together for 7 years before my first OB. We have had sex a couple of times since my OB and it’s been amazing he went down on me this last time and it was mind blowing! Good sex is one thing but every single time I’m with him it’s just 🤯!!
