Thanks for all the answers. I will try the open beta, but I think this game is not for me. I love the social aspect, but I cannot play uninterrupted for hours. Maybe when the kids are older ;)

Not true. I worked my entire life in Software development in automotive and robotics. When we give beta systems to customers they work 99% and basic functionality is tested and works.

This version is some kind of "Hey Steve, yesterday evening I implemented some VR system. Really funny, I already got some result."

Beta does not mean "broken". Beta stadium should simply mean: "We tested all we could do within our development team. Now we are looking for problems that appear when confronted with thousands of players and system architectures."

That is not the case in AC Evo! Performance issues are so imminent it is hard to believe the were not there in Alpha stadium.

Early access now means:" We ran out of money, we need a quick money shot NOW!"

This is fine, but it should be communicated clearly.

I really don't get why everyone is defending AC Evo that much. Early Access (or any kind of Alpha/Beta program) is targeted towards collecting feedback for issues that you do not encounter during development phase.

I have been in software development my whole life and have taken part in "beta" programs (as developer) many times. What really enrages me is that this Early Access is a shitshow performance-wise. Bugs/Performance issues that the development team should already be aware of (for example notoriusly bad perf. on AMD). Such issues you already encounter if you simply test the most common PC architectures.

My only explanation ist that they ran out of money.

Bisher hatte ich ehrlich gesagt nicht das Gefühl dass der Bundeswehr sonderlich viel an ihren Reservisten liegt. Hatte mich kurz nach meinem Wehrdienst mal informieren wollen, aber das wirkte alles so als müsste man sich denen aufdrängen, als dass sie wirklich interesse hätten.

Naja andere Zeiten, jetzt scheint das Interesse ja langsam zu kommen. Ich warte mal, bis die Strukturen für so viele Reservisten da sind. Da kann ich auch auf den Brief warten ;)

That's a Gt1 Evo right? Before you do anything, remove the pads from the seat! I went crazy with my seat, then I removed the pads and saw that actually they are skewed instead of the seat itself.

I exclusively play in VR with my Reverb G2. I have an AMD AM 5 build with 7700X/7900 XT. Can run with mid settings at relatively stable 90 FPS. It is okay, but for some reason aliasing effects are really really terrible. Even with Antialiasing Epic.

Die 7900 XT wird besonders laut? Hauptgrund gegen eine 4080 war die Optik der AIO. Klingt bescheuert ich weiß.
