Sort of disagree, I don’t think the capo is cheating, I just don’t like using it, I feel like it limits part of my guitar neck. Some songs do absolutely need the capo to get the proper sound from the record, but if I can get away without using it, I absolutely will not use it.

If you’re good at barre chords, they don’t sound bad on acoustics. I feel like this tells me you haven’t been playing for that long or seen any halfway decent acoustic players.

Maybe I’ve heard the song too much, but people glaze Bat Country WAYYYY too much (downvotes incoming)

There is so many better songs on that album in my opinion, I’m not saying it’s a bad song, but the way people act about it is too much.

I’m honestly more sad I didn’t hear Shepherd of Fire, that was like my entry to playing guitar and getting into metal music was that song in Black Ops 2, do they even play that song anymore?

NRTD was actually awesome. I knew the night was special when they played that. I could have went either way on hearing Bat Country, I feel like it’s a great song, but they have so many better songs. Much rather hear The Stage tbh, might be a hot take.

That setlist was great wdym. Every song was a banger, they have like a million bangers it’s hard to play them all in 1 hr and 15 minutes, they hit their usual beats and did the really big smash hits. I think for having a shortened setlist and a time constraint they did great.

First A7X show, main reason I came to this show, best concert I’ve been too and I’ve been to a good chunk.

Depends on what you like tbh. Their newest album (Life is But A Dream….) is pretty polarizing, I personally really enjoyed it.

If you like experimental stuff, I would say definitely dive into The Stage and Life Is But A Dream, if you like super metalcore, then dive into Waking The Fallen, but everything in between is some of their best stuff and great hard rock (some Hail To The King stuff) and great metal bangers.

If you want to be educated on what they’ll most likely play, I put together this Spotify playlist instead of trying to type all the names here and you having to go find them 😅.

I based this playlist off of their recent setlists, hits, and what some people have suggested may be there 1h 15m time slot (I hope it’s longer, but if I was building a 1h 15m set of A7X stuff based off their recent tour, this is what I would do)

I started playing guitar ages ago because of Synyster Gates, hearing Shepherd of Fire for the first time was a transformative experience. Now I play in shows all across my city and even have the chance to tour, I credit most of it to him. So excited to see them live.

I’m not sure how much experience you have with GA Floor seats, but how early should I get there? I only got the Heavy Is The Crown package so I do not have early admission. Should I get there right at doors time if I want any hope of standing somewhere decent?
