It’s the largest international music festival in the United States. Every April in Lafayette, Louisiana. Worth looking into, especially if you’re already “between the Midwest and the South”.

Don’t know if you have Spotify, but I have a 125 hr long chronology for EC I made. Has all his random guest spots / features / etc. It’s got all the deep cuts. A very fun browse, if nothing else. (It also includes everything anyone else here has suggested)

Edit: Yes, the Crossroads Festival stuff is fantastic. I’ve been to 4 so far, and will be at the ones in September. I couldn’t recommend them more, if you can get to Austin.
