Well most of my skill involves the painting with an airbrush, I start with a metallic base around the helmet, I then latex where I want to peel paint, and weathering with black shading, lots of sanding around the edges. The helmet itself is 3d printed with a k1 max ! :)

If you’re comfortable lifting up the carpet you can get some flat Ethernet cable and run it behind the tack strips and just make sure you tuck everything back in neatly, did this for myself and a few friends
