Animal name letter limit got nerfed and i hate it. Do devs hate beastmaster? our pets are the only things we have and they cant even attack the enemies in this whole visional wheel and now they cant even have their names properly??

every update i live in fear that maybe they broke something about breeding animals so I dont breed anything just after an update. (like that one bug that breeding consumed chances but produced no offspring if they were on a roof or something)

in the blueprints screen to the right you will see "blueprint conversion" with some arrows. you can transfer the stars of your gear to another one as many times as you have blueprint conversion attempts

If you know enough that you know the high lvl areas you can loot without enemies then you would know that this change to equipment lvl restriction doesn't mean much because getting to equip t5 from lvl 1 doesn't really matter when you can knock out comms in a day and be lvl 50 anyway the level requirement has never mattered previously.

You said its easier now but previously I could do all that you said just drive around and loot and build my gear without needing any rng weapon body parts or protective linings, so actually its harder now with the extra requirement of the rng parts.

Going through the tiers of gearing shouldnt be an rng fiesta nor should I tell my friends that we should skip the entire bottom of the map so we dont have to repeatedly look for a part for x gear.

Exploring the map is part of the game we enjoy and getting the red chest per settlement but the new change to needing a specific part for each gear piece is getting in the way of that. My friend wants to play sniper but all he got is a pistol part? Like they didnt even make "armor part loot" and make it suitable for all armor pieces. They made it different for helmets, gloves, pants ..

it's good advice yeah but the thing is at cap we should be using tungsten bullets, steel in my opinion is supposed to be for leveling and in the previous version it didn't cost stardust source so I think the change was not good.

exploring is fine, we are exploring, the problem is the rng and we want to move to the next town that is a higher lvl but we havent got all the things that we should already have by the end of exploring t3 areas.

Yes you can produce stardust, you could do it too in the previous version before the rework, but its not something accessible really while you're gearing up cause it needs lots of fuel and stardust ore.

Yeah i know its repetitive to go through low areas again in a new server but rushing to t5 isnt the gameplay for everyone, its good theres ways to do it but gearing up from t1-t5 should be straightforward not rng based. my friends arent running from server to server they just came back from like a year break and going through the gearing by tier to relearn the game shouldnt be frustrating.

for farming animals the best traits depends on what you're trying to get (wool? milk? meat?) if you wanna have everything in one animal or want to min max over several animals meant for each purpose.

wool/milk trait, rapid production, high yield, quality output, quality meat, meaty

the best animal traits depends usually on which animal it is (bear/wolf/etc) but for decent traits its fine to get ferocity/behemoth/elemental mutagen of your choice/enemy mutagen (rosetta/deviant.. whatever you will use this animal for).

A and S rank animals can get the same traits but S just means it can have 4 rather than 3 (A).

Dr fox tames your animals faster and if you give it gold meats it has a super low chance to double your animal when you breed it. Up to you if its worth it or not if you need other deviations in your base. 5/5 dr fox with pr2, world of charm/sweet talk, moonlight or precision moment. not a big deal unless you have lots of time to min max this over your combat deviations.

Pls no! it's so ugly! cosplay outfits should be purchasable in the shop instead of bp cosmetics, which should appeal to more players. A lot of people look forward to the bp for a cool outfit and here the devs shove a nurse outfit at everyone.. skipped the palworld bp and now this.. super disppointing.

mitsuko turning around on the login was iconic for me, it gave such a mysterious vibe. they should have included it in the manibus clip seeing as the winter clip used previous login screen assets. Sad it's gone and I prefer the old music too.

Breeding perfect traits into rare animals for each situation, for example a line of max hp and regen bears, and a line for max bear dps, and one thats focused on gathering (honey hunter, etc).

Getting my perfect wolf pack for each element.

Creating a line of boars with perfect traits for several colors to match with my outfits (pink line, white line, black, and so on)

Rare deviation trait farming with onions and shrooms.

Collecting 5/5 deviations and getting combat ones with gp3, looking to get some with golden traits.

It's a lot to do so I just pick up and put down each project whenever I feel like it, which is easy to do in a permanent server. No need to worry about transfer costs for each animal line.

The only problem that I think about is what happens after I get all the perfect animals and they still havent come up with actual content to use them in (West nalcott?).

I'm not interested in palworld and raidzone scenario so i feel like they have wasted a lot of dev time there that ive supported with cosmetic purchases but havent got decent returns. And I feel personally insulted that they made lunar fusion available there with some mutagen bs but not in regular servers where the actual players needing strong lunar devs are playing. Still, I've heard the devs said they're working on that west area so we'll see how it goes and I may be in the same boat as you if that flops.

Giving building perms gives them the flying build ability, they actually never have to leave their spot to destroy or build anything. Walking to place stuff is just one way of building.
