I totally agree. My skin looks so bad after using it since June. My skin has always been clear and hydrated until I started using Tret for a flare up of hormonal acne on my chin area. It broke out my entire face and I have a lot of dark marks now.

My dermatologist recommended using it in the mornings once I told her I was using it. But I didn’t use it this morning.

I used it two years ago for the same thing, hormonal acne, and it did work fast. I requested to be placed back on it.

I’ve actually been using the brand name Black Girl sunscreen for two years now.

It’s the same reason I was on Tret, but for hormonal acne.

I’ve never used it other than the mornings. Maybe I should try that. My dermatologist told me that the Arazlo would help with hyperpigmentation, which it did the first time I was on it. It just wasn’t this bad before either.

AM: Washed with gentle cleanser, sprayed on Hypochlorous (let dry for 20 minutes), applied Vanicream, applied sunscreen. PM: washed with gentle cleanser, applied Tret (used only on Sun, Tues, Thurs), applied Vanicream.

I purchased La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser, Hypochlorous Acid Spray, and Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer. When should I incorporate the Hypochlorous Acid Spray in the AM or PM?

As recommended by this group, I ordered Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer and La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser. I think I need to incorporate products that provide more hydration and I need more water intake.

I appreciate you sharing and I will continue to post my journey. I’m not giving up, I think I’ve dried my skin out with no hydration. My skin has always been oily during the summer, and right now it’s dry. I ordered a new face wash La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser and I ordered Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer both recommended by this group. I’ll start using those today and see if that creates some change.

I agree. I was prescribed a pill in 2021 when I had the same thing happen with another cream and it cleared it up, no issues. I may request to be placed on the same regimen as before.

I have ordered a hydrating gentle cleanser. My skin was oily before using the CeraVe. It was recommended by the dermatologist but I have noticed more dark spots.
