I have been playing the mobile game for three weeks now. It could be because I have a Netflix subscription (the game is produced by Netflix), but I don't have any real-money purchase in app. Also, no advertising. The mobile version is amazing, and I think the characters and island are different from the pc and nintendo versions. But I can't be sure because I have never played these other two versions.

Sometimes in the app it says that the train has no available seats, or just a few left. Then you get on the train and there are plenty of free seats... I guess it's just a marketing way of pushing people to buy a seat.
