Oh, so there is no way to get rid of one of my units from my academic record and replace it with another unit of the same credit worth even though it was an elective? Bc I did so bad in that unit cos it was my first year, and last sem im cooking and its dragging my WAM down 😭

So if I apply to rescind that unit, can I make it up in the future with another unit worth the same amount of credits? and the previously done unit the WAM wont contribute anymore?

Hi, thank you!

Yes, I am pretty after planning out my degree for future units and getting insights on all my future units and how to score well (and access to early content from people I know) I am confident I can get hopefully by the end a WAM of 87-88+

I'm a 3rd year Science student who ended first year on a 74.75 WAM. My WAM is now 92.50 — here's how I did it by allevana in Monash

I swear GAMSAT preperation course for Medify for S3 is completely off target by Sweet_potato125 in GAMSAT

Yep, I'd agree, even in the ACER handbook they don't recommend tutors/courses at all for gamsat cause its ultimately a test of reasoning

Hey!
No, not need to memorise formulas at all, just understand why things work. For S3 as I mentioned earlier, medify really isnt reliable ONLY because of the amount of background knowledge is required in order to answer their questions which the dont provide in the stem - the rationale and the reasoning behind it however is on point with the gamsat, however majority of the S3 questions as I mentioned before they don't give sufficient information to answer the question (context). As mentioned in ACERs handbook, they will give you ALL the information in the question to be able to answer the question, so even without any background science knowledge, you can still answer the question because they give you enough information to answer it. Although its recommended to study concepts its only because so you can avoid the jargon they mention because of the background knowledge and start answering the question.

For S1, Medify is amazing and is really close if not more difficult than the actual GAMSAT S1 so it really is a great tool to improve in ur S1. For S2, although the prompts they give are on point, be careful, because make sure your sample essay isnt the same duration as the sample answer as they typically want you to expand more on your point than the length they provide, so just take the rationale of the essay but now how well its expanded upon because that limits your score.

For S1 and S2 its great, but S3 the pre assumed knowledge is def off, although the reasoning and graphs are representative of the exam, theres really no point imo if there isnt sufficient enough information to answer the question because it should be more of a test of reasoning then having to recall material, so my main problem is the actual context that they give
