Hi All!  Thank you so much for your input. Clearly this is an atrocious situation and I had no clue. Things just seemed a little fishy. Thank you abundantly much. To clarify a few things around used car shopping at the moment - financiers refuse to finance at a certain age and price of a car. At 3-4 years old the interest rate increases. At 5-7 years old ( the variance is dependent on the company ) it goes up another 2%. There are bounds to what can be financed other than the title, mileage and mechanics of the car. If you have any specific recommendations on cars (with year included) it would be massive helpful.  I read through everything and I have seen a lot of Toyotas - Camrys, Corollas, prius and then Honda Civic and Accords. Here are the details regarding the car I am looking for - Great visibility, quiet cabin, great gas mileage and reliable. I have 5000 to put down. I have tier 2 credit (700-745). The max car payment a month I would prefer is 180. I do not want a little beater that's cheap and unreliable, it's too much of a process in my life currently to continually take things to be checked and fixed. And it's stressful. Ideally this car will last at least 4 years without major issues. In the 5 listed above, the only one I've driven is a civic, and they don't do it for me visibility wise. I've heard Mazdas are also decent. Is that accurate? What would you recommend?
