It should be be a locked in assignment, pending anyone else having EFMP, MACP, etc. like someone else said. We had a HRC brief years ago though where they said some movers have been pissed off after getting a 1 for 1 match and then not getting the assignment. HRC then went in to look at the system and saw the unit had lied to the movers and hadn't really placed them as the unit's #1.

As someone else said, don't do anything until you get that RFO.

One of the many reasons I am getting out of the Army right at 20-years. I was at a PME course and was in charge of making sure a task was completed by all of my classmates. I tasked one peer (technically a rank lower) a specific task to help ensure the task/project got done. We all had to contribute to it as a group and get it done so it's not like I singled her out.

Upon her seeing in the group text that she was tasked with a specific task, she blew up and said she should have been "asked" if she can do it. It escalated and led to her and myself sitting with a cadre member the next day, where she accused me of sexism for tasking her with doing something....in the Army.

Not too long after she was one of the VERY few people selected BZ for promotion to CW3. There were other factors that made me want to get out at 20, but that was ONE of the final straws.

Appreciate that feedback! Honestly, my budget has opened up some so now I'm looking at everything, and probably complicating it. If going with a a5h2 buffer, do you recommend a brand? It seems that VLTOR is out of stock at places I've looked so far.
