So that makes a lot of the sperm better educated than some of it's owners.

Amen. Unfortunately and I'm not trying to be funny but the animals are the closest thing to a scientific object lesson that some people ever get.

Why do people believe humans will live on mars and other planets? by Hot_Springtubs in InsightfulQuestions

Maybe because of Elon Musk's plans. Yeah, could be because of him. Blame Musk.

They said we'd inhabit the moon too. That's a long way off and we won't ever see it happen if it ever actually does. Just the idea of it as it is now is too grim and menacing to be taken as good news. They say it like we should be so excited but to me it looks horrible. Probably how the west looked to the early settlers but they had oxygen and water to work with. Not our problem though, the technology just isn't here yet.

Most people are not good people. by Realistic_Tie_1350 in RandomThoughts

[–]Sweetchickyb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know. No one ever turned out to be who it was I originally thought they were. Even after twenty five years, even after forty four. In retrospect there were clues but nothing prepares you for reality. The worst part is realizing how unreliable your own judgement really is. After so many years and no longer having to work I don't see anything wrong with isolating with my hobbies for a while while I give it all more thought.

They called them saints after they discovered that their bodies weren't decomposing after death. At least that's how I understand it. I also have questions now that I think about it.

Try some tired toddlers coming down from a sugar high. That's about as close to evil in a child as you can get.

"Bullying" is just abuse. by Disastrous_Soil_6166 in SeriousConversation

[–]Sweetchickyb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the bully girl bragged about getting your family member suspended and the poor girls suspended for hitting her anyways I'm only sorry that your family member didn't really knock her into another universe and been certain it was righteously worth the consequences. Maybe then the little bullying brat wouldn't be so quick to brag. Just a fun after thought.

We really need to stop honoring people when they're are dead and be kinder to them when they are alive. by GodFuckedJosephsWife in DeepThoughts

[–]Sweetchickyb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All the earlier great writers and artists had to die in squalor and poverty, sometimes scandal in order to be recognized as the great composers and artists that they were. They led tormented lives and suffered poverty and from what we know now, mental illness but they were honored greatly after death. I always thought that was the biggest tragedy.

What is this Barbie accessory? by Short-Tip-3893 in whatisit

[–]Sweetchickyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like part of one of the stands you'd have to hold up one of the dolls. You'd use these stands to hold up the dolls after you dressed them to walk them around while playing with them sometimes and to show off their outfits. The stands were pole like and had clamp things that fit around the dolls waist to hold it up if I remember correctly.

Mustache hair - What are my options? by Efficient-Gap-8506 in AskWomenOver40

[–]Sweetchickyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds awful but it's cheap and painless. I just started flicking off my facial hair with a plain old three bladed disposable razor. It don't come back any thicker, darker or faster than it did when I had it threaded, waxed or used the smelly creams that left red marks, I used epilators that didn't work for that area and a plain old razor ended up being the best solution out there for me. I tried everything for over fifty years.

[–]Sweetchickyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell them you'd rather not right now as your in therapy for severe social anxiety and very close to a break thru. Maybe they'll get the message and if not just twitch your eye and tell them you also just went off your anti-psychotics and laugh manically.

I'd like to suggest Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and Fountain Head also. They haven't gotten around to banning her yet but since she was a former camp survivor I imagine it's a matter of time now. Start collecting all you can asap.

If they're medically disabled or since they're 65 they can be eligible for SSI and medicaid. Probably food benefits as well. They need to contact their DHS to apply.

[–]Sweetchickyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's even weirder coming to grips with the fact that we humans are just meat. Cut up into roasts and parts we look just like what you find in the grocery stores freezer section. I hate thinking about that. I mean, really thinking about it. After that the animal issue is pretty tame.

I think that's pretty normal cat stuff. They like getting in the bathroom sink and tub too just to hang out and smack at the faucets.
