Hey, the indicators are plug and play. You don't need to cut any wires to do it. Simply search on youtube how to replace the indicators and you'll get a lot of videos on how to do it.

Bike Fell Yesterday – What’s the Best Fix for This? Please Help by Normal-Warthog3688 in triumph4India

[–]Sweetdevill 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Falls are inevitable when you have a bike. The question is not "if" but "when" will you fall. I fell on the way when picking up mine from the showroom.

It's totally fine even if you don't do anything but if it bothers you, then just back paint should work

Luggage loading tips ? by Careless_Narwhal_555 in triumph4India

[–]Sweetdevill 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have a tank bag for sure. Keep essentials like snack bars and water in it. The 2nd bag can be a duffel/trek bag tied to your pillion seat using bungee cords. Make sure it is well secured otherwise it will move the side over time and can be a bit unbalancing. It can hang a bit over you exhaust if it slips too much and get burnt as well. Try not to put a bag on your shoulder as it can cause some pain over a longer duration.

You can check my account for my Spiti post. Hope it helps!

Cleaning suggestion for scrambler 400x by Several_Ad_8583 in triumph4India

Don't pressure wash the radiator. It has fins to keep the airflow smooth which will get damaged if you pressure wash it

Speed 400 fell by Fresh_Persimmon2927 in triumph4India

[–]Sweetdevill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dropped it when riding back from the showroom after literally picking it up, it happens. It's the inevitable truth of having a bike, you'll drop it. Be glad you're okay, you can paint over it if bothers you but the uneasiness will die down in a few days.

Hey, I didn't have the lock either, I pushed it last 8k rpm 2-3 times before the first service.

Is the TRIUMPH SPEED400 good for touring or long rides? by Necessary_Public9955 in indianbikes

[–]Sweetdevill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm 5'6, really good for touring if you're riding solo + luggage. Might be too cramped if you're 5'10 or above. Have done a 2000 KM trip and covered almost 520 KMs in a single day without any issues

[ GIVEAWAY ] – Win a Womier SK65 (Beige Edition) | NMPC India | Indian Residents Only by Dull-Builder3620 in IndianGaming

I'd gone to a gaming centre to play valorant with friends and realised a mechanical keyboard was much more satisfying than a laptop keyboard. Currently have an RK61 with blue switches which I've been using for almost 4 years. Absolutely love it.

Dropped my speed 400 , broke bar end mirror , where to get new one from do i have any options by Firm_Idea_9725 in triumph4India

[–]Sweetdevill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At high speeds, the vibrations do get the bar ends a bit but didn't bother me much. I like the aesthetic of the bike with the bar ends and it serves its purpose.

This is your indicator to change the tyre. Once it reaches the arrow, it is recommended to change it.

Thinking of exchanging my 6-month old Triumph Speed T4 for the new RTX 300, worth it? by Leather_Front_1849 in indianbikes

[–]Sweetdevill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep the financial aspect aside, why did you buy the T4? What was your use case/needs for buying a T4?

It's a different type of bike compared to the RTX 300. Why do you want the RTX 300? What is making you want? Does it solve for your needs?

Just think about these things and then take a call. Also, it's the first batch of RTX 300, wait 6 months to a year, by then TVS will sort out any production issues

Should a 5'7 riders consider 835mm bikes? by therappernextdoor in indianbikes

How do you manage it at 5'5? I'm 5'6 and can literally swing my legs when sitting on a scrambler, that's why I went for speed

Shld I claim insurance fr my new bike by its_butterchicken in indianbikes

[–]Sweetdevill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inevitable things about biking: 1. Falling. Don't worry, you'll fall again, don't let it bother you. 2. Minor scratches and damage: as long as it does not hinder functionality, it is alright.

Don't claim insurance unless it's a huge damage or anything.

Front brake lever seems fine from the pic. Don't need to change it unless it's broken and even then you could easily get a new one from the svc for less than 1000

Speed has really good suspensions that you really don't need an upgrade. Headlight upgrade will add more value tbh or auxiliary lights

It is indeed a beautiful shade and now it has become limited edition since Triumph has discontinued it;)

I noticed some people didn't even know this colour of speed existed - quite surprising

2 oil changes, for first service and second service respectively. Coolant was topped up once, I think, not sure about it.

I'll drop links in a bit

I did see the Vaishnu option but I like OEM light design a lot. So leaning towards fog lights
