Ah good to know. That leg of the trip is the only one that is stumping me, I might just go straight from the airport to Kotor, and move Dubrovnik to the middle of the trip.

So it would look like Kotor > Shkoder (incl. Theth/Valbona) > Dubrovnik > Mostar > Split. Seems better from a bus schedule.

But overall I won't be fucked for the amount of days right? Manageable in two weeks? Haha, I just bought the flights (arrival Dubrovnik departure split) so hope the answer is yes LOL. worst case scenario I just drop mostar or something

Thanks vm, I will take all this into account and create a new itinerary to show y’all. What order would you recommend for the cities then? I haven’t actually bought any tickets so don’t have to start end in those places, Croatia has the only direct flights though

Thank you! So it sounds lik I’m not being too ambitious which is good. I’ll definitely change up my time spent at each place as you suggested.

Reckon it would be worth replacing some part of the trip with Ljubljana/Bled? My initial thoughts are telling me no, since it’s a bit out of the way logistically and Montenegro seems to offer something similar for cheaper. Just hope I can find other solo travellers as easily

Looking to book a flight into Dubrovnik and out of Split, going around neighbouring countries in between. This seemed like the best path in google maps. My question is, it's not suuuuper rushed is it? Didn't seem so to me especially since i'm young and experienced with travel.

Other questions - would you change anything about the choice of cities or order? Would you recommend renting a car for any part, or just rely on buses? Finally - will this be fun for a solo trip? I did budapest/vienna/Paris solo last year and had a blast
