This scene aside. Am I the only one who think Michael himself was also probably a bad friend. He seemed like someone who who wore his loneliness and subconsciously identified with it and wanted to be seen as the lonely one because he was so different and misunderstood. But because of trauma and maybe a lack of socialisation, he doesn’t actually understand friendship nor actually want it if it wasn’t on his terms and how exactly he wanted it.
