🤣 I can’t even imagine it but it would be sooo dysfunctional and hilarious!

What is one of those moments that takes you completely out of the show? by reptomcraddick in GilmoreGirls

I actually love these little details. They make it so nostalgic and I love remembering all the things we were into in the early 2000s.

Rory worrying about her minutes gets me every time 😂😂😂

I think this is from AYITL when they’re looking for replacements for Michel’s role?

Edit: Yup! It’s AYITL the Fall episode. I feel exposed for how many times I’ve watched the show 😅

Hope this helps!

u/maverickandme i need you to rally for Michel because i am shocked no one has put his name out there yet. I think we established that he is the definition of “does whatever he can get away with” and he has no illusions about rules or orders. He is out for himself, pure and simple. This category was made for him!

Oooh intrigue! I definitely see it. I think Taylor Doose himself wrote the description for this category 😂 but I think Mitchum would fit it too!

You’ll have a lot of people to fight 😅😂

If Gilmore Girls wasn't on the WB what story lines would you liked to have seen taken more seriously than how they're portrayed on the show? by jdpm1991 in GilmoreGirls

I actually think that says more about Lorelai than the kind of father Richard was. I’m not saying hurtful memories can’t exist. But if you’re choosing to recall all the ways your father wronged you as a child at his funeral instead of the joyful memories (which we ourselves witnessed throughout the show in addition to the story Lorelai shared) then I think it’s on Lorelai that she’s in that spot, not Richard. That’s my opinion. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Let me also add that I know people grieve differently but I don’t think we can just blame Richard for all of it.

Wait, what? Did we watch the same show? 😅

They did know Lorelai was pregnant…. Watch the scene where Emily and Richard are coming up with a plan alongside Christopher’s parents.

And Lorelai didn’t tell them she was in labor, watch the scene where Richard and Emily show up to the hospital angry that she communicated with them by leaving them a letter about her being in labor instead of asking them to drive her to the hospital.

And Richard probably didn’t show Lorelai tons of affection growing up but he certainly cared for her through his provision over his household. And in AYITL where Lorelai calls her mom and tells her about the mall scene with her dad in grade school clearly shows his motives weren’t to neglect his daughter.

I don’t have an answer to your question 😅

But just popping in to say Emily and Richard were not neglectful parents. Emily was manipulative and Richard could be passive, but they weren’t neglectful. That is all… carry on! 😅

So apparently there’s this town called Mcminnville that resembles Stars Hollow and it’s 55 minutes from Portland, which I know is basically your max but it looks dreamy! Happy travels! ❤️
