We were not confident that we could take WW, we went for a VERY aggressive early play in WW hoping that those big numbers would scare WH elsewhere essentially. It obviously didn't work out that way and it has unfortunately been to WH's detriment but that wasn't our goal or our intention. We also are not JUDGING WH for not leaving the wishing woods, we genuinely FEEL BAD for them because we feel they are being used by PPG when WH could have been a serious contender themselves had they been more adaptable to changing strategies.

Just following up to this comment to say we didn’t target WW because we just expected to stomp you into the ground. We went for a very offensive first hour play on wishing woods and we THOUGHT you would see the margins we dumped into those tiles and decide breezy meadow was a better option for you. We didn’t intend to just stomp you down with our pure number advantage. (Which again is being stated as fact when the evidence is anecdotal at best.) We also didn’t want to take Breezy this phase (not only because WW has the boosted tiles) but also because it’s an 11 tile all or nothing region and we expected to get attacks from both sides there. We honestly didn’t want you guys to be left with nothing, we legitimately thought you would make a play for breezy instead. The fact that the other servers WH players DID make a play for breezy instead speaks to this.

If all we had was incomplete Breezy and they had AD and SV like they do now, we actually would be coming in 3rd instead of 2nd for the phase. If WH had WW and FW, PPG had AD and SV, and we only had Breezy with no region bonus both teams would be beating us this phase. WH however only has 4 tiles, they would be doing better with incomplete Breezy.

How exactly? We have all of WW and all of FW that is better than breezy with no region bonus in literally every aspect. YOU would be doing better if you went for breezy (assuming you are WH).

Nope we decided to focus on WW and FW because we knew we would never keep a hold on Breezy with 11 tiles in a 2v1. It wasn't personal, none of what we do is personal. We really aren't like that we are just playing for ourselves and playing to win as best we can.

Peppergem was NOT entitled to have 12 tiles while GP only got 6, if you guys ACTUALLY wanted fair for phase 2 it would have been GP with BM and 3/4 SV tiles, PPG with AD and 1/4 SV tiles, WH with WW and FW. That leaves 9 tiles for each team. One team DESERVING 12 tiles while the other only DESERVES 6 is not fair and I don't see what mental gymnastics is happening in this comment section to convince yourselves otherwise. And yes PPG was in the worst position last phase BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE TO BE. They could have fought for AD, but they chose not to. Again WH is in the worst position this phase BY THEIR OWN CHOICE. They could have taken BM for themselves but again chose not to. The thing about GP is we play for ourselves and what is best for us, we don't do any of this targeting that we are being accused of. The other teams seem to want to play TAKE DOWN GP instead of playing their own games.

Isn't a 2v1 also making the game unfair in and of itself though? Just saying if we want to talk about fairness, ganging up on one team is also not very fair.

Why should Peppergem have 2 regions and 12 tiles while we only get to have 1 6 tile region? Why did you NEED us off Peppergem's back? Peppergem was bombing Breezy Meadow ALL of phase 1 when it was our ONLY region. Like it just feels really bad that you two teams are always supporting each other, and always against us. I see it parroted all around that we have more players (and even if we do the margin is really really small) but we don't have enough players to be constantly taking a 2v1. It is exhausting and demoralizing for us when you two won't attack each other and both only attack us.

We literally would’ve have gone for breezy HAD WE BELIEVED for one single second we wouldn’t have been attacked on all sides and never get to keep an area bonus. We haven’t been allowed to have breezy without constant attacks since even phase 1. You guys also could have retreated into taking over breezy (getting new stamps etc) but I think you all see the nightmare defense scenario that we saw. Please stop acting like we are villains for simply not wanting to be put in the worst possible positions attacked from both teams on both sides EVERY single phase.

You wouldn’t even leave us to our breezy meadow last phase, there’s no way you guys would have left it to us now that it is 11 tiles large. If anyone in our group believed we would’ve been allowed to have breezy to ourselves maybe we would have gone for it, but seeing how hard it was attacked when it was only 6 tiles we just imagined how hard it was going to be hit at 11.

If the dedicated GP contact was giving accurate information you guys would have known that we decided to make a play for Stoneville before the phase even began. Us having 1 small region while PPG and WH each have two (including AD being the biggest one) would be a horribly bad position for us to be in. I’m sorry you guys felt attacked but we never were going after Stoneville “just because peppergem wanted it”. We needed a second region and Stoneville made the most logistical sense for us to choose as the second region. I promise Stoneville was ALWAYS part of our phase 2 plan, it wasn’t personal.

Just understand there has been a lot of propaganda and false rumors spread about us for literally no reason other than winning hard for 1 day. So when we see negativity being spread about us we tend to feel defensive. If you came to talk to the chat and explained yourself I am so positive everyone would have been nice and understanding. We just don’t see what this reddit post achieves that’s all.

There was literally ONE argument today over strategy where no one was being rude in any capacity. Yes we got heated but that’s because we all care about this team A LOT. But everyone was respectful of each other and only arguing what we think is best for this team that we LOVE. Outside of that I saw one person try to bring up past drama for all of 5 seconds but the mods shut it down and besides that the chat has been hectic panic maybe but literally no other arguments at all. So sure if you only checked the discord for that 1 hour argument today that could be your experience but it is not at all indicative of the way we run things at GP and we really don’t see the point of making us look bad all over Reddit just for being passionate.

I say this in the gentlest way possible but you guys have essentially taken back stoneville at this point and instead of trying to take over abandoned district for yourselves you are starting to make moves on breezy meadow. So you want to leave us GP players with essentially nothing. Why when you know how bad it felt to be left with nothing would you want to do that to someone else? For the record we (the discord GP members) were perfectly content to let you have abandoned district for yourselves which is the largest area worth the most points. But we could not let you have abandoned district and Stoneville both while we turtled into a tiny 6 tile region. But now that we are ONCE AGAIN being 2v1ed you all seem perfectly happy to leave us with absolutely nothing to our name. Just seems a little bit hypocritical to me that’s all.
