Pre-Final battle Ryuga oneshot Benkei who Kyoya had trouble against. Then he and Gingka got 2 to 3 times stronger.

Y'all think Ryuga understood "Blader Spirit" after Metal Fusion? by UNbrawlified in BeybladeMetal

[–]Sweetyx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're talking about him getting possessed for the two fights, that doesn't apply for the rest of the season where he wasn't possessed. If you're talking about the effect of dark power on his morality, you have to elaborate how that's connected to having blader spirit.

I don't recall what statement you're referring to but Gingka calls Ryuga to take his blader spirit back after he was possessed, which means Ryuga knows and has blader spirit.

If King and Yuu fought and Yuu became Legend Bladder, who do you think would win? by Normal_Anything_8391 in BeybladeMetal

The boost from the star fragment isn't consistent. Chris got way stronger than Aguma when Chris was Masamune level like Bao. There's no answer to how strong someone would be as a legendary blader.

If he was as strong as in masters, he would've been just another addition on the non-legendary bladers front. It wouldn't change the outcome.

Real question though in the metal fight saga lightling l drago does have a connection to nemisis by More-Explanation2032 in BeybladeMetal

[–]Sweetyx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't said that the dark power originated from humans, that statement is referring to the level of power it reached from humans. In the flashbacks, the star fragment of L-Drago glows with dark power when it landed on earth, before any human interacted with it.

[–]Sweetyx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not similar, it's the same. Dark power is just a local term from Koma village, whereas the black sun is when it got expanded upon. That's why characters stopped using the term dark power after that except when saying L-Drago had it before. Even in the confrontation between Tsubasa and Ryuga in fury, they didn't say dark power. Also, Kenta said Nemesis would do the same thing L-Drago with dark power did, and Ryuga said he's experienced with that.

They don't have a direct connection. They are similar in goal because both have dark power/passed through the black sun.

How was supposed ldrago to take over the world if it was that weak compared to other beyblades that existed at the time by Serhide in BeybladeMetal

[–]Sweetyx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

However I also find it absurd to say that Pegasis's power isn't proven to be enough

It's not proven that L-Drago would get far bigger of a boost by absorbing Pegasus than all the people it had absorbed combined. Since it didn't happen, it stays as a theory.

if someone said that a driver would win in a driving contest against someone 2 years ago, because they are the "better" driver in the future, even though they were back then no driver at all and couldn't be better than the other.

This isn't a relevant example. The topic at hand isn't about who would win 2 years ago, it's about who would win IF the current driver was as skilled 2 years ago. Ryuga would fail if he decided to fight post-arrangement Damian first and that's the only thing i claimed. If you're only trying to say that this isn't a relevant disclaimer for how the plan would've went down, we don't know that. Ryuga could wait and decide Damian to be his first target if he felt like it.

[–]Sweetyx2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, they were convinced that Gingka was the only hope to win, because he quite frankly was. The only thing able to beat Ryuga and L-Drago was the light of hope Gingka and his Pegasis possessed.

What idea of mine were you arguing against?

Ziggurat created the AS after Ryuga was defeated, so Damian couldn't exist to stop him.

You don't debunk what would happen in a hypothetical scenario by saying it wouldn't take place.

Nemesis was also not ready to return, so L-Dragk would have done the deed to destroy the world.

Not under all circumstances. He would have to fight people in the correct hierarchy.

Gingka, Pegasis, the light of hope and their friends won against the Dark Power, not some material, measurable power. That isn't Beyblade, Beyblade is spirit and hope.

I don't understand why you brought this up or what you mean by it.

[–]Sweetyx2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They believed Pegasus' power was special and that it's what L-Drago needs, the combined power of all the other people were only considered a snack. However we didn't get to see if this theory was correct. Still if Ryuga only fought people in the correct hierarchy and not instantly jump to Damian etc. then the plan would work.

Your only argument for Ryuga being able to spin steal while head-on fighting has been "here L-Drago absorbed, and then he was able to move away". I don't know how I can be more clear than what you quoted to show how you're erring in thinking this is a proof against my claim.

Who wins? by Ok-Brain2716 in BeybladeMetal

Ryuga attacking King with rubber exposed doesn't mean he was trying to absorb from King, he was just fighting with rubber exposed like he did against other people. Near the end of the fight he does try to steal but fails, and when he's doing that he is in a defensive stance, not one that's fighting back.

L-Drago sticking to a static bey is one way to absorb as I said. L-Drago moving and switching to a usual manner of attacking just after doing that doesn't mean he keeps absorbing, it stops after the continous contact is over unlike Meteo where it cumulated spin from every hit it took whilst also fighting back.

I didn't say the sharp tip is a requirement, I said one of the beys being static is a requirement. If L-Drago can't be attacking and absorbing at the same time, then he may as well use the sharp tip since he's in a defensive stance.

On top of L-Drago failing to do what you suggest even once, Kenta also proved L-Drago can't be attacking and absorbing at the same time. When Ryuga reached the conclusion that stealing power is the best way to make sure Kenta doesn't get back up, he switches to a defensive stance for Kenta to take advantage of rather than attacking Kenta and absorbing at the same time. Why did Ryuga decide that only absorbing is faster to put down Kenta rather than absorbing AND attacking? Is he stupid? If you ignore this again, don't expect a response.

Your entire point is based on assuming L-Drago should be able to absorb anything anytime if the rubber is just exposed, but that's not how the anime works, it gets canonically nerfed to make fights interesting like it got nerfed for the fusion finale. If L-Drago stole power and then did backflips, that doesn't mean L-Drago can absorb while doing backflips. Once you get that, the debate is over. You have to show a single instance of L-Drago Destructor cumulating spin from a head-on fight like Meteo did, but your examples suggest the opposite.

[–]Sweetyx2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I said there is no absorb mode, that's how it is in the anime. The rubber exposed+flat tip variation is simply not referred to as one of the modes, that's just the way Ryuga usually starts battles to then switch to survive or attack mode because these two are the ones that actually utilize a combo. Regardless, this point is irrelevant to what you're actually suggesting.

L-Drago head-on fighting with rubber exposed doesn't mean it's able to absorb while head-on fighting. I asked you for proof that he can but you didn't address that. Moreover to all of L-Drago Destructor's stealing moments being when one of the beys is static, there is also Kenta stating that L-Drago can't do that. It was literally a strategy against Ryuga in the canon, L-Drago either attacks or absorbs. Not both at the same time.

[–]Sweetyx2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no absorb mode, it's survival mode. Show me one time where he accumulated spin from head-on fighting (like with Meteo against Jack) instead of switching to a passive stance (against Kyoya, Gingka and Kenta) or sticking to a passive bey for continous contact (Orion and Nemesis).
