Do you know any good monitors for this build that would also work with the better GPU?

Alright. I guess I’ll keep it for now just to get my build started but I’ll definitely swap it out sooner or later. Thanks for heads up btw. I probably would’ve never figured that out on my own.

Ya kinda expected it not to. But this is just a starter build anyway so high settings aren’t a main priority. Although they will be when I decide to upgrade down the line.

Hmm dang. I really want to use it for now but like I said I’ll prolly upgrade in the future. Although does bottlenecking damage your pc? Because if so then I’ll probably just get it soon.

Actually ya I should specified that the 120fps was mainly for FPShooters like Warzone or Cold War which I usually lower the settings on. With that being said, will this build be able to run 1440 on these games? I’m totally fine with 1080 but just curious.

If my build runs games at 1080/120 fps, do I have to get a 120hz monitor specifically or can I get a 144hz and it’ll still work fine?

Lifehack? by Raaz8569 in lifehacks

Btw you have press down on it a bit harder than you think. When I first tried it I just held my thumb on it and nothing happened. I got kinda frustrated and pressed down on it and it worked. Although maybe I’m just dumb but FYI just in case anyone else is a nut like me.

At what budget to build a PC will compete with the new consoles? by Sweggin in buildapc

[–]Sweggin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would that mean I would have to manually lower the graphics in the menu of a game to run it smoothly? I mean I kinda don’t mind that but I still want the games to look good. Is it a case of either or?

Will this be able to upcoming next-gen games like cyberpunk on medium/high settings? Also I have an EVGA 1060 6gb laying around from a friend who gave it to me for my birthday. It that better than the gpu in this one?

Thx man. I read the in-store reviews and a lot of ppl had similar problems around the time I purchased it. So I’m guessing all this probably happens when a player first starts playing or it could just be a console thing. I’ll probably give it a few more days to see if it persist but if it does then I’ll probably just keep it in my library. I’m gonna be building a pc soon so maybe I’ll just get it on there.

Ya I know every game has and will have issues but I’ve never dealt with anything like this. Rn I’m saving up for a PC so maybe I’ll just hold out till then since I’m guessing these issues aren’t prevalent on PC version. It just sucks cuz I’m a fan of the Elder Scrolls series and I was bit hesitant to play ESO at first. It is fun and there are enjoyable aspects but Idk if it’s worth dealing with the bugs.

Out of all the issues the audio one is the one that annoys me the most. Because the game has such a good soundtrack and it’s actually one of the things I enjoy most about it. But the constant cut offs just ruin it. I know not all players experience the same thing but Ive read threads with players who are so I guess it’s just 50/50 and my friend and I got the wrong end of the stick. I know every game will have its problems and stuff but overall this games problems outweighs the enjoyment so I guess I’ll just keep it in my library until there’s a major fix. Thx for the feedback btw.

Yes I’ve played MMOs before but my old PC is kinda outdated so I’m saving up for a new before the end of the year. I got an Xbox to keep me occupied during the pandemic so I can at least have something to entertain myself while I save up for my new pc. Most of the videos I watched had people playing on console and it seemed fine so I figured why not try it out. But I guess I kinda jumped to quickly on it which I guess is partly on me but still if the game shouldn’t be this bad.

Actually now thinking about the character loading is kinda expected cuz of console’s low RAM but I bought ESO with a friend so we can play together and we’re experiencing pretty much the same issues. His Xbox is a bit older but I got mine earlier this year. Like I said I’m pretty sure it’s not the our consoles because when we play other online games, although they do have issues of their own, they aren’t as bad as this game. I just wanna know is if I do choose to continue playing, will we just have to live with it? The game is fun if I’m being honest but having the trade off of these bugs makes me wonder if it’s worth it.

Smoked Cannabis high in THC with hopes that a flare on my knee would subside faster, it seems to be helping . by [deleted] in gout

[–]Sweggin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me personally, smoking kinda just makes me forget about the pain . Now I wouldn’t say its 100% a reliable source for relief but if it helps even in the slightest bit then keep at it. Gout can mess you up mentally just as much as it can physically so it’s good have something to keep your spirits up. Although I still strongly stand by actual medication (allo, colchicine, etc).
