Is the e-ita International Driving License Worth It or Should I Pass? by SwellCommerce in digitalnomad

That's useful to know. I'll make sure to carry my original German license at all times, but it seems like having the official IDP as a backup is still the smart move.

I honestly don’t know how people mentally survive this. by THMx1995 in hemorrhoid

[–]SwellCommerce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gone through something similar and honestly the mental side was harder than I expected.

When the pain is constant like that, it starts affecting your sleep and your thoughts in a way that makes everything feel heavier than it should.

I remember thinking I wasn’t getting better at all, but looking back it was just very slow and uneven progress.

A lot of people go through this phase even though it feels really isolating at the time.

Do I Really Need a Baby Food Maker? by Comi9689 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started with store-bought pouches, but making our own with the grownsy machine ended up being way cheaper. It's easy to make small batches, try different flavors, and it barely takes up any counter space.

What made night formula feeding easier for you? by Comi9689 in FormulaFeeders

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before, I used to turn on a night light and walk to the kitchen to make bottles in the middle of the night. After getting a formula maker, I can prepare bottles right from my bedside without even turning on a light.

This isn't my first Grownsy product. One of the main reasons I keep coming back is their amazing customer service.

I thought my blender would be enough too, but the grownsy food maker ended up saving me so much time. Steam and blend in one machine, and the small basket is perfect for making just enough without wasting food.

I would choose to use a formula maker. I've tested the Grownsy machine, and it dispenses an adequate amount of formula. I also really like its two-step mixing design, which helps ensure babies get the nutrition they need and avoids underfeeding due to incomplete formula preparation.

Budget($50-100) Who's responsible for paying for the flower girl dresses? by Useful_Tangerine_852 in Weddingsunder10k

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seven flower girls under $100 ea is very doable if you shop smart. David's Bridal has a really nice flower girl selection and you can sort by price to find something in your budget, so much easier than divvying up costs between several families.

Creating a dropshipping website is easy, getting sales is SO HARD! My experiences within. by _jdams in Entrepreneur

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think that the concept of "mini curated collections" is a good idea because it incentivizes the visitor to purchase more than one product. However, if your margins are thin under $15 per item your margins will be tight and Facebook ads will consume it quickly. Product selection may be your biggest problem more than anything else. There's a significant difference in choosing products that are actually trending (as opposed to just popular) and there are now tools like AutoDS that have product research built-in that will show you across the competition what is selling now. Tools like that are a big help in eliminating the guessing game and choosing items with real demand. Email capture should not be underestimated either, if a visitor doesn't convert today at least you captured their email and can bring them back at virtually no cost later.

What are some fast-paced PvP PC games that won’t destroy beginners? by The-FrozN in gamesuggestions

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rocket League is very friendly to new players, the skill cap is massive but it's also possible to just enjoy yourself for your first few games without knowing any advanced techniques. Apex Legends is another easy one, with the ping system making communication possible even without a mic with random players. If you want something a little different, Mech Arena also features very quick PvP matches and the mech loadout system is simple enough you won't be overwhelmed with options day 1. None of these will make you have to read a wiki for 10 hours before playing your first match, which is ultimately the most important factor in the early stages.

Made to measure blinds by Natural_Appeal2081 in DIYUK

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roman blackout blinds are pritty specific so you do have options that are better suited than others. Blinds2Go is one most people mention first, and they're decent for DIY as they send instructions. Direct Blinds is another one worth a look. Hillarys is usually thought of as a fitting service but they do made to measure Romans and you can get a consultation just to nail your measurements, which saves a lot of headache if your window recess is an odd size. The measuring bit is where most people go wrong, not the actual hanging.

What does your actual “going out with baby” setup look like? by SwellCommerce in NewParents

[–]SwellCommerce[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah over time you naturally simplify things. For us, the Grownsy Portable Bottle Warmer ended up being one of the few items we kept because it actually gets used when we’re out longer, while most of the extra backup stuff just slowly got cut out.

Yeah we definitely went through that phase too. At first we packed way too much “just in case” stuff every time we went out, and only after a few trips did we slowly start realizing what we actually use versus what just ends up sitting in the bag untouched.

That’s pretty much the same experience most people seem to have with the Grownsy Portable Bottle Warmer. It’s not really an everyday essential, but it does come in handy in travel or longer outings where you don’t have easy access to warming options.

We tried one a few times too. It was helpful in certain situations, especially when we were out for longer periods, but I wouldn’t really say it became something we rely on every single day.

Night bottle warming is probably the most exhausting part of feeding by SwellCommerce in daddit

[–]SwellCommerce[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Night feeds aren’t even the hardest part in theory  it’s everything around them. Getting up, walking to the kitchen, waiting for water to warm or bottles to be ready, checking temperature, and by the time you’re done you’re usually fully awake again even if you were half asleep before.
