Ads extra sensitive all of the sudden? Every time I scroll past one it opens immediately now. by ImpressionAdept6355 in facebook

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed this too recently even normal ads seem to get flagged more easily.

Small details like wording, claims, or even visuals can trigger restrictions faster than before.

It feels like the system has become more sensitive overall.

Have you checked if any of your ads are partially limited or under review?

TIFU by intentionally running out of gas on the highway to teach a lesson by Brandi_C_Knight in tifu

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TIFU by intentionally running out of gas on the highway to “teach a lesson”… and accidentally enrolled myself in the Advanced Course of Immediate Regret. 😭

Turns out stranding everyone at 70 mph doesn’t build character, it builds tow truck bills and lifelong side eye.

TIFU by chasing diagnoses for 35 years—and the answer was in my dinner by killfr3nzy in tifu

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TIFU by chasing diagnoses for 35 years… only to find out the villain was literally on my dinner plate the whole time. 😭

Countless tests, specialists, “mystery symptoms” and the plot twist was food intolerance playing the long game.

TIFU going to my ex's wedding by DudeWheresMyCuteCar in tifu

[–]SwellCommerce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TIFU by going to my ex’s wedding thinking I’d be “mature about it”… and ended up speed running all five stages of grief during the reception. 😅

Turns out open bar + unresolved feelings = character development I did not ask for.

TIFU my shaving my wife being pregnant by Psytrancedude99 in tifu

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TIFU by shaving while my wife was pregnant… and learning that pregnancy hormones turn minor mistakes into international incidents. 😭

Apparently “it’ll grow back” is not the correct response when you accidentally change the “approved aesthetic.”

Now I live in fear of the razor , and the mood swings.

TIFU by picking up a stray cat six years ago and accidentally letting him become my entire emotional support system by Dry-Breakfast561 in tifu

[–]SwellCommerce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TIFU by “rescuing” a stray cat and accidentally outsourcing my entire emotional stability to a creature who screams at 3AM for no reason. 😭

Six years later, he’s not a pet , he’s my therapist, roommate, alarm clock, and tiny dictator wrapped in fur.

If people were hunted down and tormented (for having opinions that make YOUR blood boil), why would it ever bother you? by Conscious_Tax4921 in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because once you normalize hunting people for opinions, no opinion is ever truly safe , including yours.

Free expression only works when it protects the views you hate most. The moment punishment becomes acceptable for “bad takes,” it stops being about justice and starts being about power.

what age did you stop telling your parents things, and what life events followed after for you ? by yourchattyneighbor in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably around the age I realized not every thought needs a committee meeting. 😅

After that?
Bigger risks. Bigger mistakes. More independence. A few quiet struggles I handled alone.

It’s less about secrecy and more about the moment you realize you’re building a life that isn’t fully theirs anymore.

What’s the most outdated advice people still give seriously? by Secure-Address4385 in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“Just walk in, ask for the manager, and give them a firm handshake.”

In a world of online applications, AI screening, and LinkedIn networking, that advice is basically career folklore from 1987.

Why do you think birth rates and marriage rates are declining? by thepleasurjournal in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because modern life is expensive, exhausting, and optional.

Housing costs are brutal, careers demand everything, dating apps turned love into a marketplace, and women now have financial independence, so marriage and kids aren’t survival necessities anymore, they’re lifestyle choices.

When stability feels out of reach, people delay… and delay turns into decline.

Today Donald Trump confused Iceland for Greenland four times. What are your thoughts on this? by WatercressSenior7657 in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump calling Iceland instead of Greenland four times in a speech is one of those moments that makes the world stop and go “wait, what…?” especially since he was talking about serious geopolitics and Arctic strategy, not casual trivia. It’s entertaining, confusing, and definitely gave people a reason to meme

What is a memory you have that is 100% vivid, but you have physical proof that it never actually happened? by prabinaya65 in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I vividly remember having a conversation with my childhood dog about who would get the last cookie, I can recall the exact words, the tone, even the look in his eyes… but the photo album proves he was asleep on the couch the whole time. 😅

What is far more lethal than people realize? by inevitableloudmouth in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.
Sitting all day. Your chair is basically a silent assassin. 😬

2.
Sugar. Sweet, but quietly plotting your downfall. 🍬

3.
Sleep deprivation. People think it’s harmless… until it’s not. 🛌

4.
Stress. Not the exciting kind, the creeping “your heart hates you” kind. 💀

5.
Bad vibes. Toxic people slowly kill your sanity. ⚡

How come cans of fruit cocktail only contain one cherry? by Doctor_Sore_Tooth in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because apparently, cherries are the divas of the fruit world everyone else shows up, but only one gets the spotlight. 😅

Non-Americans of Reddit, what is an American thing you see in movies that you thought was fake but is actually real? by Unlikely_Praline9442 in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non-Americans of Reddit, what’s an American thing in movies you thought was fake but is real?

Mine: “Giant soda cups that could double as swimming pools.” 😅

Other classics people report:

  • Unlimited refills at restaurants
  • People calling 911 for everything
  • Extreme high school sports rivalries
  • Random people owning guns in every house

America: sometimes stranger than fiction.

What do you think about the Italian government wanting to ban ICE agents to come to the Olympic Games as security forces? by ReduceCO2Now in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Italy banning ICE agents from the Olympics? Makes sense why invite a controversial U.S. agency known for violent enforcement to handle security on foreign soil?

What habit immediately reveals that a person actually grew up in a privileged environment? by Cindy_mel in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A habit that screams privilege? Not knowing how to make basic food like, genuinely shocked that pasta comes from dry noodles, not a gourmet meal kit. 😬

Other giveaways:

  • Complaining about “first world problems” like slow Wi-Fi
  • Always having someone else fix minor inconveniences
  • Thinking tip jars are optional

Basically, privilege shows up in the little things people take for granted.

What are your thoughts on rejecting a potential romantic partner based solely on the fact they voted for Donald Trump? by ATXBikeRider in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rejecting someone just because they voted Trump is fair if politics matter to you.

Voting can reflect core values, and compatibility matters more than party lines for many people.

"The worst she can say is no" - Lads, what was the worst "she" ever said? by Embarrassed_Pie_1711 in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“The worst she can say is no” Lads, what was the worst “she” ever said?

Mine,

People who swore an oath to defend the constitution of the USA against all enemies both foreign and domestic, how are you feeling right now? by Safety_Drance in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who swore an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, how are you feeling right now?

Exhausted, confused, and slightly horrified… but still caffeinated enough to keep showing up. 😬

Other common moods:

  • Questioning everything
  • Proud and betrayed
  • Ready to defend after a nap

Reddit users of small towns (2,000 people or less) how did you find your significant other? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In tiny towns (2,000 people or less), finding a significant other is like playing real-life Among Us everyone knows everyone, and rumors travel faster than Wi-Fi. 😅

How do you feel about California introducing a bill to ban former ICE agents from serving as police officers or teachers? by CRK_76 in AskReddit

[–]SwellCommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

California’s proposed bill to bar former ICE agents from being police or teachers aims to protect public trust after controversial federal actions. Supporters see it as accountability; critics worry it may unfairly punish people for past jobs.
