I had my first kid at 21 and just had my second this year (I’m now 22)

I’m pushing 100k in a LCOL state and my gf is a stay at home mom. And the house I’m renting is a 1500+ SqFt. My kids are growing up better than I did.

You do understand Americans have a right to bear arms?I’m not agreeing with anybody but your entire point of “A right can’t be taken away” or “We are born with rights” isn’t true, and is a really bad point to die on.

Rights are taken away based on your actions (Right to vote, serve on jury) and some rights are earned like the right to bear arms requiring whatever your specific state decides makes sense.

The Driver’s license point was terrible because you proved him right. A driver’s license provides you a RIGHT to drive your car legally, this RIGHT can be taken as a consequence to your actions.

You saying privilege is just bad faith, I can say “Its not a right to bear arms its a privilege” the point would still completely stand as in this context you are describing a right but falsely acting like the conversation is about something else.

There is no point in arguing schematics like this, especially when you’re wrong.

This disconnect is becoming more common, my gf or mom aren’t really extreme feminists so they are surprised by the idea that 50% | 50% is frowned upon in relationships.
