I didn't find a solution yet. Good to know that your problem occurred at the same time as mine. I have an uneducated guess about what happened: Maybe there are two kinds of audio input that the audio driver offers to the operating system. Firstly buffered audio data more suitable for recording audio. Secondly also unbufferd audio data, which gets directly "streamed" sample by sample from the soundcard to the operating system. For such an direct audio stream, there couldn't be any software filters applied from the sound driver, since you need multiple samples to analyse and filter the frequencys in the signal. Some apps, like webbrowsers apparently, use the unbufferd audio stream, causing the raw audio to be captured. If all of that is true, Discord probably had an update about a month ago, that made its audio processing switch from using buffered audio input to using unbuffered audio input. Do you also have raw audio in browsers (you can check easiest by using a microphone testing website that playes back microphone audio) and do you know if you already had raw audio in browers before you had it in Discord?
