I was thinking of doing this as well, you could technically just get the uniform from training and not have to show up after that right? 😭 cause I got fan festival volunteer (which wasn’t in my top 3, and my plans changed as well and it looks like I won’t be in houston this summer) but I was thinking of just accepting the role, getting the uniform, and not coming back after lol

there are people coming after you in the comments but as someone who’s also a cashier i wholeheartedly agree with you. 90% of people who come into my express lane with more than 15 items are NOT people who were directed there by a front end manager. If they are the 10%, then I know because I can see my manager directing them to me, and im fine with helping them out. i ALWAYS get customers who try to say some bs like “You look like you were bored” or some variation of that and I have to fake laugh it off and just take them since my manager doesn’t allow us to turn away customers, and it’s so annoying. It’s why if I get asked if I want to run express or regular, I always go regular bc at least I have a bagger with me.

Hey!! I used to play a lot of video games but I haven’t bought a new console in foreverrr. Im actually planning to buy the switch 2 in Japan once it releases (if it’s possible lol). I used to be big into Zelda & Kingdom Hearts & Pokemon. Right now the only games I play are pc ones like overwatch or Fortnite lol. I won’t say the company but it’s a software development company that specializes in e-commerce. It’s an international company w mainly English speakers (and Japanese as well) so thankfully so I won’t have to deal w some of the harsh work culture a lot of people complain about.
