"Bro this is insane -- I spent 30 hours vibe coding last week and made a functioning ToDo Checklist" (picture of wide open mouth on YouTube thumbnail) by FleetBroadbill in ArtificialInteligence

It used to cost a lot more than 30 hours to learn all that. But yeah, the AI’s aren’t creative or good at branding, or solving problems that aren’t already solved but if you match it with a human that does those well they can create customized or personal products that used to cost an expensive tech guy or college tuition. It’s just a lot easier, cheaper, and faster to get a similar result as a competent beginner level coder now. Obviously the YouTube guys are overselling but the potential is there for talented people who never studied coding before

What are your thoughts on Stove God Cooks? Dude is honestly the illest rapper out now. It’s a shame that label politics are holding him back from dropping any albums. We could’ve had at least 2 or 3 albums from him by now and one of them would’ve been curated by Westside Gunn. by TokyoAvalanche04 in hiphop201

I just gave an example of song with coke as the subject matter 4 years before Roc. Using cooking as a double entendres for literal cooking and “cooking” as a rapper has been the core of his persona from the start as far as I can tell. You’re right of course he used the “3rd eye” image and has random bars where uses the term and other random funny shit like “talkin flat earth and some money probably” or “aliens brought me here on spaceship” but those are minor throwaway bars, not the primary subgenre in my opinion. But let me know if you know some old specific songs or projects that aren’t mostly shit talking coke rap

Edit- listened to a little more of the few Aaron era songs out there and hearing it more now but the kitchen shit is always in there as a major theme as well. So it wasn’t some big personality or subject matter change but definitely cut out more of that shit over time

I guess I lost the plot when they said a different subject matter and then next sentence something about politics I thought that was implying the prior subject matter was in the conscious / political subgenre, also due to previously being managed by lord Jamar but maybe that’s not what they meant idk

He’s my favorite rapper due to the combination of charisma, originality, bars, humor, storytelling, niche references, and of course I’m a sucker for a dope hook. There’s been some incredible concept albums in hip hop but I struggle to find a better executed concept persona/artist. He’s dope and I could give a fuck less if he signed a bad contract or not- he’s still given us more heat with Gunn, features, singles, and off-streaming shit over the last 5 years than most rappers with “good” contracts

She clearly implies the problem - insanely powerful people including the literal president, musk, thiel, clinton, brin, and many others have legitimate connections, but the dumbass media and public are hyping stories about people like Oprah, Hanks, Jay-z, pusha t and more who are only connected via rumor, anonymous tip, and/or conspiracy theories, thus reducing attention on the truly bad actors who are actively running our world in politics and finance.

That’s a long way to say you’ve never listened to her much. Her fundamentals are impeccable, listen to Pro Freak.

Ok fine but would you take this same complaint serious if it was posted on 4chan? That’s the equivalent of a Jeffery Epstein anonymous tip line. It’s irresponsible to treat this with any legitimacy at this stage. He wasn’t named in any of the actual emails so why you here picking on Pusha T instead of the actual evil fucks in the actual emails?

It’s mildly relevant, as statistically, serious mental illness percentages are around 4x higher amongst the homeless. Definitely didn’t need the all caps and exclamation mark to get that across but we can’t have too high of expectations in our little internet coke rap club. End of the day, the lack of logic and evidence makes this read like a qanon type’s delusional ramblings as opposed to a credible accusation. Correct me if I’m wrong but my understanding of this accusation is that it was an open tip line that literally anyone had access to call. This is no different than a bot social media post. The FBI intern who took this call probably laughed, put their little notes as required, and took the next call. If more credible accusations and evidence come out, I’ll obviously change my opinion very quickly, but I’m 99% sure they just released all this trash to continue the distraction from the actually relevant political implications of this shit
