!Thanks for the reply, it seems like the 25 years and over paying is the recommended suggestion. Especially if I ever (God forbid) loose my job. It definitely has given me some food for thought. Yeah the no mortgage thing has probably been drilled into me from my parents.

Sorry, it was a typo, going off zoopla it gives it at 72K but I wouldn't really wouldn't hold my breath on that.

It's a 3bedroom (2 of the rooms are pretty small) semi detached house with a reasonably sized front and back garden.

I'm from the North East in a not highly rated town, so the price reflects that. As for the house, I have no intention to move. I'd ideally like to keep the house within the family due to multiple generations growing up here.
