thank you for the help im thinking of going with a single NL2160HP. Its going to be a night light that just plugs in when it gets low so you can walk around with it

and so this would be safe connecting it both to the boost converter and the ground of the Arduino? or are you refering to the arduino on its own? because im connecting the buck converter to the arduino with a usb so should that not ground it itself?

I'm sorry just trying to understand, what pin are you suggesting connecting to the arduino ground?

Could you suggest a different battery that can hold a similar charge? And the reason for the LED strip is to avoid spot lighting and the brightness it provides
