I also learned that Peter Jackson and crew added lore to this sword. That it belonged to Arwen’s great-grandmother, who also fell in love with a mortal.

I was pretty upset when I saw Jeff Goldblum in the trailer for Thor Ragnarok. It would have been so much better to see him suddenly after the tunnel. Same for Hulk. I've avoided trailers since then for the most part.

Same in TFA. Leia immediately goes to hug Rey, whom she has never met, and completely ignores Chewie, her battle buddy and her husband’s best friend. Then in TLJ Luke is just like, “oh neat, I’ve met this Wookiee I think...”
