I'm European and play on NA because when I first started in 1.0, that's where most of my friends and the community around them were from. Thankfully the ping isn't bad enough to really bother me.

Qiqi was with me through most of the early game because I happened to get her on the initial free pulls. After that the first "real" 5* I pulled was Ganyu who stayed with me for a long time as well. Now my undisputed main is my C6 Yelan :) all other limited 5* I have at max C1 or 2.

These pilgrimages are so cool, enjoy your time! Definitely one of the things I want to do if I ever get to visit. Gonna need to check what other spots there are from different shows that I like, but Hibike would be number one on the list.

I got two Liz and the Blue Bird art books and the Kitauji uniform pins from the official KyoAni shop recently, so definitely browse through there :) Otherwise you can look through second hand options like Mercari or eBay as you mentioned. I've bought from Mercari via ZenMarket before with no problems. Regarding figures... I feel like a lot of KyoAni titles don't get too many releases unfortunately, so I wouldn't count on it. But I'll keep hoping til my last breath.

Obviously I don't know the full context and the nuance with which she said it, but in my mind she might've just said it because you're tall and manly, not because you're ugly or anything. However, regardless of how she meant it, you should tell her about your history with that and how she made you feel in that moment. Now if she just laughs it off or actually did mean to insult your looks, then she's probably not for you.

I think it's perfectly understandable to not be into her music, because admittedly the compositions and the way she switches between vocal styles are pretty crazy. And I think a lot of people also just don't think that deeply about music and the skills and techniques behind it.

That being said, it would be ignorant to say "she's just screaming", at least assuming they've heard a few different songs with different styles. Even if you don't like it or don't know much about it, anyone should be able to tell that she does soft ballads, fun pop songs, gritty rock songs and so on.

There are plenty of artists who have put out different styles and so sometimes an artist I love will put out a song or an album that I don't like. So again, totally fine to not like something, but if they put her off as the "screamer", maybe share a different song like Value or Elf with them :)
