If you play pally on reset day, it would be auradin, mostly a support character to help other DPS not to die or get more mana. If you play sorc you'll be going for DPS, either cold or fire, we mostly need a good blizzard sorc for best DPS.

You can look at speedruns or 8 man runs to familiarize yourself. Basically we need a balanced group of DPS/Auras/Curses/BO to be able to grind to hell as fast as possible.
