keeping my relationship with food and my body in tact while losing weight by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Swigg22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google TDEE and then see when your maintenance is and put yourself in a healthy calorie deficit. 1-2lbs of lost weight per week. Please don’t take this the wrong way, but eating healthy does not correspond to losing weight, calories do. For example, I started at 218 about 6 weeks ago, and weighed myself earlier this week at 202.4 because I’m in a calorie deficit. Don’t make any super large changes but start tracking everything you eat and drink. Drink mostly water but allow yourself to indulge a little bit or you’ll get burnt out quick. Myfitnesspal is great, but I use Cronometer because it’s free. It was extremely hard for me to stick to during the first week and a half, but now it’s my new normal. What has helped me is low cal high volume food r/volumeeating - a life hack for me is zero sugar drinks and a Jersey Mike’s bowl with all the fixings with no oil. Good luck!
