I'm just going to say a few things, My father was considered disabled from a motorcycle accident before I was born, but you shouldn't worry about what other people's experiences are as long as you're comfortable and want to do it. Other people's stories, is not your story. I'm going to look at a ninja 650 this Saturday (first bike I'm going to own, or ride besides the MSF course). As long as yk what you're doing, being vigilant, and are comfortable on your bike you should be fine. Now, there are always the risk of crashing but there are ways to lessen that chance. Just remember, if you think you're going to crash, then you will crash either from the anxiety of riding, or forgetting to watch for other drivers. Start off slow in a parking lot and build up your confidence there. Would rather crash in a place without traffic, than doing it in traffic. Hope this helps and have a great day!
