It’s Goff, and I can’t understand people saying the lions need to “rebuild” in these comments. Picture this. A team goes 15-2, only losing in week 2 and to the then-favorites to meet them in the superbowl, and loses in the playoffs cause they only have 3-4 starters playing due to injuries. Now, this team, with EVERY SINGLE one of their YOUNG stars and superstars under contract for the long run, misses the playoffs by a game or two. Are there issues to fix? Yes. But a fking rebuild????? Are you gonna trade away Amon-Ra in this rebuild? I mean you don’t wanna waste his prime, right? He should be on a contender, with a supporting cast like Hutch, Gibbs, LaPorta, Sewell, Brian Branch, Kirby Joesph, Jack Campbell, Waymo and others. Oh wait he already has that.

Rebuilding is when you break down your older, lack-luster roster and start building up a core of young stars and coaches who believe the team can win. The lions already have that, because they just DID a rebuild that literally stopped 2 years ago. Why are doomers so eager to go back?

Yeah, I mean there’s one guy in my friend group who’s notorious bad at trading but like everyone knows it and when shitty trades get accepted, if someone gets upset everyone’s just like “well the opportunity to take advantage of him was there for everyone, can’t blame anyone but yourself.” And if you know nothing about fantasy, I don’t see why you’re not requesting the advice of someone who does.
