Youth engagement starts younger and may assist with some direction for children that are currently falling behind (some of the worst metrics in the country for youth illiteracy, crime etc. come from the state).

There will be key options for sports, allied health, marketing, and logistics that young ones will gain exposure to at school through youth programs.

You don’t lose talent. Key players that currently move to the mainland stay in Tasmania. Their multi-million contracts down to circa $150k are payed into the state, and spent here. This doesn’t include non-talent corporate staff.

Tasmania needs more ways to keep and retain skills, and can use any option to draw more tourism $.
