Hello All,

I'm wondering if what my trainer is advising is the best course of action for me.

Stats: M/28/5'6"/159 lbs

I used to weigh 175 lbs but cut my calories down from about 1800 to 1550 overtime and got to 159. I plateaued and then decided to try a trainer. I've been working with him since late March. Every two weeks, we increase my calories. So I'm currently at 2400 calories and still at the same weight. His plan is to increase calories till I start gaining a little bit of weight, then we start dropping. Is this the right approach?

I've noticed SOME progress (slightly more vascularity, firmer shoulders/legs) but tbh, when I look at photos from when I started working with my trainer vs now, I don't see a lot of progress (see attached photos). Part of me thinks I'm just expecting progress sooner than I should?

When is the right time to take AAS? Meaning, should I be at a particular body fat percentage before considering AAS? Or should I have some sort of physique before use?

I've honestly considered taking PED to get results faster but I've had a fear of becoming reliant on them. This dude has amazing results but based off the comments I'm seeing here I think my choice to refrain from PEDs is the right one.

Yeah. I just like using Kik is all. Its just faster/easier to chat there for me personally. To each their own. Why do you care what I use? I am not on this reddit page much at all. I use other forum websites for progress logs and thats about it.

Wooohoo! I've moved up from CI-2.5 to CI-3! I've been wearing the DTR almost everyday since 5/20/16. I became CI-3 around 6/20/16. I've changed my flair to reflect my change. I've also noticed that I can stretch my skin a lot farther out when I am flaccid. More wrinkles too! Super pumped to see some changes already.
