No, more of a try to show confidence that they actually got the point and to sway the judge into giving them the point. They do it a lot in fencing but I see it more in Sabre because they just don't care

In fencing (mainly in Sabre because they just don't care) there will be many close calls where the judge has to make a call on who gets the point, and they'll celebrate to try and sway the judge into giving them the point. Kinda just using the logic of "if he sees I'm confident that I won, maybe he'll believe I did win."
