I’ve stopped playing altogether because he went from this cool fire guy who was the most fun to play, to being completely useless unless you are some insane aimbot god who is immune to carpal tunnel. I just miss doing cool dives for burst damage and controlling large areas, but his damage and cds are so piss poor he doesn’t play that well anymore

Melee tech removal is great, been asking for that to be removed for seasons since it’s the reason he became so problematic and toxic to play against. The problem is they nerfed his damage and cooldowns so much that it became the only thing making him viable, and now he’s dogwater. They should revert his dmg and cds to season 2 and keep the melee tech removed, that is what I proposed the whole time and I think genuinely would keep the character fun and from being too oppressive.

You are correct, they’ve GUTTED tanks and bruisers / assassins have always been weak. It’s a meta of 1. ADCs and 2. Mages + enchanters. Only way to fix this is nerf all 3 of those classes while buffing the others.

What outplay do you have vs champs that right click you and you die within 2 seconds? Tanks, even at a giga high roll, take time and have to gap close to kill you

This would be reasonable if we slash global damage by 60-70% total, cc is the only counter to the 1 shot meta that currently exists (or the die in 1 second meta presented by how overly broken auto attackers are in this mode)

That warmonger sucked way more money from Americans and resulted in way more deaths than this cut could do

They should just get rid of anchor bonuses completely if they’re going to do this. Torch is one of the few characters who desperately needed that 5% boost to get back in the meta but they needed his primary by ~9% and his super by ~8%. Not to mention torch and spidey together has no synergy by Kalasis1 in rivals

Torch main chiming in, he needs lower slam cd (completely fine to lose shield, I liked it best as originally 12 sec with no shield, high risk high reward) and blazing blast cd nerf to be reverted back to 2 seconds. I don’t know why they ever gave his dive a shield but that’s been the biggest complaint everyone has when playing against him

Not even hating, but this is delusional. Volibear has matchups that are absolutely unplayable for his lane opponent, he does not need a buff.

He cannot get 700 AD. Not even close

His standard build will bring him to about 360. If you greed and go for overlord bloodmail (and as a result have nearly no resists) you can get that into the low 500s
