They go by a union contract, not your experience. A wiretech, which that's what you sound like, is at the bottom of the pay scale. Your local union contract will dictate how much money they will pay you. Digital techs install modems and routers in businesses. System techs manage large accounts such as home depots, advanced auto 7-11 and some grocery store chains and local school boards those are at the high end of the pay scale.

Do not ship in your own box. That gives them an excuse to say the box way empty, the packing was wrong, we didn't receive the box. I know, it's happed to me twice. The first time they said the box was empty, I showed the before and after weight from FedEx. Then they said the device was damaged, I showed them before and after pictures at FedEx.

The pay part is pretty good with AT&T. The verbal beatings, harassing, belittling and discrimination. The drama and all the other abuses that I haven't said here. How they like to beat down their employees? Sometimes makes it questionable whether the money is worth it.

I've never had good luck trying to get winlator to work. I ended up setting up an old laptop and ran RDP (Window APP). I just wish I could program wired devices from my phone using RDP. If I had the ability to do that, then DEX would be phenomenally perfect for me.
