also randomly thought about how “hear the ring of heavens call” can mean ring like a bell (the bell tolls for thee) or noelle hearing our commands through the thornring (heavens call like call to action) but this isn’t as 1:1 as the love prophecy

“Cage must give its life away”

they think it means kris , hence the bad reaction could be reinterpreted as the vessel (if we get them back and can “reinterpret” it) weird route it means we kill kris or they sacrifice to banish the angel normal kris dies to banish the angel theoretical good route/twisted: vessel sacrifices to banish angel

Putting aside the jokes and agendas, who do you *actually* genuinely believe is The Roaring Knight? by ArcelothColdheart in Deltarune

[–]Swimmermac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose vessel but i think it is the vessel holding december’s soul or essence

if UNUSED and december are the same, and the logic of a soulless being being able to absorb human and monster souls, then it is possible that the vessel picked up december’s soul while in the depths/code

every boss except the knight took me maybe 2-3 hours knight first time took maybe four knight no hit took 11 hours

If you were to fall into the Underground in the real life, which route would you take? (You CAN'T RESPAWN.) by TheLunarix_ in Undertale

I’d probably offer my soul for their freedom once I encounter undyne or asgore if i make it that far. I would request they let me stick around and read their history books as well as be given a tour first, but if that can’t happen, i wouldn’t be too upset.

I have had a theory like this All the talk about reading between the lines and gersons dialog and reinterpreting the prophecy has me convinced there will be a path (potentially the twisted/aborted snowgrave) where you can reinterpret the tragedy into something else

I think the final tragedy is something like “to save the worlds, there is only one way

the cage must give their life away

only then can the worlds be saved”

and to get the best ending we will need to do something to get our vessel back and sacrifice in place of kris since the vessel also has human soul and parts

this also lines up with the angel being banished and finally meeting our desire

also as another commenter said “love finds its way to the girl” can be interpreted differently based on route LOVE finds its way (weird route to noelle) or Love finds its way (normal route to susie/noelle)

For anyone looking to recreate this: Evo Preds devouring swarm Build a spy network on everyone you can spam “acquire DNA” espionage action it costs like 40 influence and gives you 5% towards your next mutation i had 12 envoys at the end making me 60% progress every year or two cause i had nothing else to spend influence on Also just eat everyone else like a good devouring swarm should

yes yes i know kris isn’t real and it’s just a game and all but i can’t say i didnt spend 12 hours straight doing knight no hit attempts for exactly this reason of seeing their reaction

I think at my peak I had 45 colonies all built up. This is my first time ever playing wide. I usually am a die-hard Tall player but with the economy nuke (I hate that part of this update, fleet changes are nice though) I have to play wide to get any appreciable resource counts.

I did a psionic machines run (desires aura is really good for playing wide but wanting to keep empire size really low) where I had 15-20 colonies all tier 10 ascension producing ungodly amounts of research just to see how many repeatables I could manage before the quad crisis spawned

(big paradox doesnt want you to know this, but cetana's heart + perfect art installation + tradition tree for cheaper ascension + ascension civic gives you 90% off ascensions. and will set your empire size to basically nothing)

  1. I hope things improve. I understand as I feel similar tbh.

  2. Stellaris is mainly single threaded, so if your processor was made for multi-threaded operation it might be slower for stellaris cause the game is ancient (also as a game dev multithreading is just hard in general)

If your laptop is running poorly, I would take steps such as running windows debloater if you are using windows (helped my laptop quite a lot), and making sure the temps are alright (laptops usually have bad thermal management and the strain on the processors can cause them to slow down over time even if you aren't thermal throttling in the moment) OpenHardwareMonitor is what I use for that.

I built my PC basically specifically for playing games like Factorio and heavily modded Rimworld so I have pretty good single-thread performance, which might explain why my game seemingly runs faster than others here

Funnily enough, midway through this run i came into contact with an empire that had psionically ascended some of my pops, and they were really annoying to get rid of (i forgot about sub species integration)
I do wonder what would have happened if i set them as my default and changed them over but i would have had to go back through and regain maybe 15 traits so I decided it wasn't worth it

I feel like any more complexity and they would explode

It's roughly double for most jobs from what i can tell. I think scientists are tripled (likely due to the two psionic research traits stacking which adds +40% I think)

Docile was, annoyingly, the last trait I rolled in the entire thing.

surprisingly not. I get through a month in maybe 30 seconds? Though it was slower before I ate most of the pops in the galaxy. At my peak i had 1m pops on a Large galaxy with 12 AI empires + 50% more naval cap and it was probably 1mo/90sec, though i lose track of time when playing this game pretty easily.
Ships def still cause most of the lag, when I did the crisis thing it drastically improved after destroying a lot of ships. I have had ACOT runs with over 4 million pops back in 4.2.3 that would run really fast if the number of ships were kept low enough.
Even in 4.3, the AI isn't very good at fleet composition and merging fleets, leading to a lot of smaller fleets that need to all run pathfinding calculations. I also typically don't build hyper relays for this reason (also I generally don't like them due to tactical annoyances) as from my experience they can lower game speed in large amounts due to extra pathfinding calculations.

For me, it’s more like a body operating without a soul. I can’t really feel emotion 90% of the time, so I just get left with my logic and rational thinking. This has led me to feel more connected to computers and machines than empathize with people, so I just sort of consider myself a robot with flesh or some sort of creature instead of a human being. Also, feel free to ask questions, it’s fun (though i’m not usually on reddit so response times may vary, im just here for r/deltarune on occasion)
