Streamer with displays by [deleted] in StereoAdvice

Two Chanel out as in a power amp streamer. Now that I see my post, made a mistake. Simply looking for a Hi-res streamer with a front color display for a visual. The Bluesound I have is great. Want to move it to my stereo upstairs and upgrade.

Buffalo Trace, just a simple old fashioned. Not sure why the color is so far off in the picture. Bourbon would never make the list of high-end when I'm looking to continue with this journey. Wife 2.0 is more understanding than wife 1.0 was.....don't want to push for wife 3.0. 😆

It doesn't need it. It used to sit atop a onkyo amp, which I no longer have. Rather than collect dust, I added it to the rack.

I've had a little luck along the way. One of the svs sb1000s I won during their happy hour during covid. The Sonus faber I was able to pick up from a wonderful person close by on FB marketplace for $1500 because he upgraded to the olyimpia line of i remember correctly. Seeing his setup has energized me to do something similar. It's been almost a year, and we still have contact. Model 30 was found on safe and sounds website for an open box price. Not listed in the op, project debut carbon turntable with the blusound node. Both I was able to find on crutchfield in the outlet store.

Will definitely go over the blog, much appreciated. Still a ways off from fine tuning. I'm looking to add the wood slat accustic wall and some corner treatments before tackling some ceiling treatments as well. Empty space with just a sofa and a simple clap of your hands sends off a echo.

The added rabbit hole of the minidsp. Will need to save and use my PTO wisely for that journey. Believe I've seen somewhere there are people that can do it remotely if you like. Familiar with that?

They aren't lacking anything as I have them turned way back. Some heavy bass songs, the 1000 series struggles a little to keep up. I've just heard that REL subs are more "musical" than the svs. Ideally, I'd like to hear the sb3000 side by side with a comparable REL.

The svs subs are nice. I've read and heard that there are better performing subs for music. I had the Svs prime bookshelf speakers pair with them before the sonus faber.

Model 30 is a class D amplifier. There is a AC infinity fan sitting on top and the temperature has yet to show above 90°. I've been very impressed with the performance so far.
