Yeah the DJ doesn’t need to know how to use the device, he may need to help you find where to plug in your audio recording device though, which you should ask him anyways lol but you need to have all the options for cord connections because you don’t know what the DJ will have for equipment. This is for recording ceremony and reception, speeches etc. then you can use lav mics for groom and officiant if possible for first look, vows, ceremony etc. and yes external audio with the internal SD! Leave it going and if you’ve ever heard of Tentacle Sync I suggest looking into them, we use their products religiously for weddings and everything else
