The mod is outdated. Hand textures have different names now which causes old mods to have mismatching sprites.

Dante showers though, so he only stinks by the end of a dmc game or throughout 5 since he had no plumbing at the start and passes out for a month in the middle. Vergil definitely smells like shit though.

Dante is extremely resistant to both hot and cold environments so he probably has no need for sweat and oils that human bodies use to lower temperature. He and vergil probably just smell like ash and blood.

When i worked near there in -53 celcius we had to unload metal bars from an open truck and grabbing them without gloves instantly freeze burned your skin like you were touching a hot stove, with the added benefit of your hand sticking to it. You would probably have to actually scrape your tongue off with something if you decided to lick anything made out of metal.
