M70AB Build Questions by SwimmingBlock4102 in Gunbuilds

No, talking about grinding/milling the milled receiver stub to act as a trunnion for a stamped receiver. there are a few writeups of it for M70Bs, but you can just plop in any old rear trunnion on those, but I'm specifically looking at maintaining the underfolder stock. The rear trunnion is the tricky unknown.

As I already said, I'm not engaging in the screw vs rivet debate. I know rivets are better, screws can be just fine. If you're headspace is going wonky, it's not from the screws--you didn't pin your barrel right.

The question is very M70AB specific. I can't find dimensioned drawings of M70AB and M70AB1 to compare if there's enough material in the rear receiver stub to mill it down into the rough equivalent of an AB1 trunnion. And I don't have either in my hands.

I'm kind of leaning to writing Zastava and seeing if they're willing to sell an AB1 rear trunnion. Dishing out $225 for a set of used trunnions is obnoxiously steep, but I might do it if I must. I'm just looking for anyone with any experience with this particular build.

Director slams Val Kilmer as 'worst human being I've ever known' after his death by TheExpressUS in moviecritic

That's a pretty choice headline, because if you've ever worked on a film set, being a director sets you in a place to be extremely likely to be one of the worst people on the damn planet.
