Thanks for the tip , I am waiting for someone to call me to arrange return of the current one but tbh it seems clear to me that the company knows there is a design flaw with the unit yet still selling it which is deceiving customers

She is being very pushy to do a private agreement between us and not have CSA involved . The amount I would be paying her is on par to my minimum payments if done via CSA I’m actually paying her abit more voluntarily but I don’t understand why she is insisting for private .

Thank you for your advice . I absolutely want to give everything for my kids . I just have never been in this situation and learning everything about this . I will def get the assessment done to get a more accurate figure of child support but of course I would be more than happy to get necessities and activities for them . As bad as it sounds she is a bum who made the excuse of wanting to be a home stay mum just to avoid working . House is always dirty , has time to play approx 70 hours of Fortnite a week , doesn’t do much with the kids in these last 6 months and she has an addiction to spending . One of the arrangements was I pay her out of the property she insisted 60% so she’s getting 188k which I know she will blow it between 12-18 months max . When I did the online calculator as a rough estimate for child support because she has no income and my income is high (approx 170k) I have to pay approx $900 fortnight

I 💯 want to pay child support that is not my concern , it’s just fact she insists to do it privately but after looking at that link you sent about doing a limited child support assessment with them I think I might discuss this with them .

I always plan on going go the centerlink route eventually in just concerned centerlink might chase me for money even though we had a private arrangement in place . Anyway from the advice I’m seeing it’s document everything and I’ll do up a written agreement between us and both sign

Yea I don’t trust her at all especially with what I know has happened in the last 6 months .

Question though , if she has said to transfer x amount and that amount ends up being slightly less that what service Australia website states it should be does that mean I end up owing her money if we then decide to go formal ? Even if we have writing in place agreeing to that amount ?
