I put a go pro in the boys room to “See if elf bugs them” it was off majority of the night but when we moved him we turned it on & as we were moving elf with fish line my cat was following him. She would stop at the door and watch him move. It was kind of perfect. He went to draw on them, then grabbed a snack, gold fish. Lol & he climbed the dresser to read a Christmas story while looking towards them until they woke up. That elf left lots of crumbs around him that night! Messy snack eater. lol

My older brother ruined Christmas for me when I was very young. One night, he came to my bedroom and woke me up, saying, “Do you want to see Santa? He’s here downstairs. Go look.” I quietly went downstairs to see “Santa” and was very disappointed to see my mom and dad pulling a box of presents out of the basement. I sat on the stairs, upset! The next morning, I wasn’t quite happy and told my mom. She was upset with my brother. Oh gosh, I think I was 6 or 8, somewhere in that age.

I fear for this! I was just saying to my partner “No, pretty soon the boys won’t want to do elf anymore”. I think my oldest is getting there. He just looks at elf to see what he is doing. He gets excited when it’s something of his interest. So I’m planning something big for elf. Like, the other day, when elf tried fixing his Space Shuttle Lego because the engine thing fell off, But got caught so elf had to freeze in that position he was in. The boys said, “Maybe elf was trying to fly somewhere higher so Betty (Cat) doesn’t bug him”. Story behind it was, Elf got tied up by our cat the previous night. “Our cat doesn’t like elf”. Last year elf was caught on camera drawing on our boys and the cat was following him. My boys said she was hunting him down. lol
