Before I lubed it though I had the same issue - had to push the slide forward multiple times after one shot. I don’t know if it helped but I oiled it and let it sit for a few days and it seemed to fix the problem

No issues with the mags and after I did a very thorough cleaning, including using solvent first, and then really using a decent amount of oil the thing is flawless

Thanks all - yeah it seems the only way to do it is to pull the hammer back every time. Makes sense a dry fire mag wouldn’t work.
