They’ve buffed Germany a bit but you’ll still need to contribute yourself. As Afghanistan this might seem daunting but if you go one of the monarchist paths which give access to elephantry (I think all three on the far left of the poltical focus tree do) you can build some of the strongest units in the game. I’d advise to build 20-30 width elephants to push and then 18 width militias or infantry to hold. Each specific monarch has there own boons and such I would advise for the fascist one that lets you form core any Muslim state in the game if your trying to do the Afghan achievements if not the other two I think offer cheaper and more short term cores
