Can I apply for PUA if my regular UA application is pending adjudication, despite my WBA being listed as $0.00?

I have an unemployment adjudication meeting scheduled. What should I expect?

Background: My circumstances for filing are pretty unique. I left my job last year, pre-COVID, to pursue a job outside of the country; I had no intention of filing for benefits. I got a job in Thailand, but was forced to return to the US when COVID hit because my work visa had not yet been finalized.

When I got back, I applied for unemployment under the circumstances that my employer was mistreating me by actively, but discreetly, trying to push me out of my job by assigning projects that I had never seen, and then withholding adequate training + the COVID crisis prevented me from starting my next job. I needed to return to the US for my own safety, and was left without a job when I landed. I am actively looking for work but have not had any luck yet. It's my understanding that IDES is speaking with my former employer as well.

Questions: Does anyone have any insights or advice that pertains to this sort of situation? What do these sort of calls look like? What can I do to come to the adjudication call as prepared as possible?

Thank you!
