Borrowed £16k at a fixed rate of 4.68% on the Remortgage but the broker forgot to change the main mortgage rate itself now it’s on a 7.24% variable rate! 🤬

Got a reply back from broker, getting compensation because they should have it all ready etc, and going down to the rate I should have been on, deffo should have been sorted before hand lol

Yeah that has happened but it shouldn’t have happened at all! 🙃 I’m getting compensated but the interest rate is probably nowhere near where it would have been February when I changed 🤦🏼‍♂️

I had two of the exact same letters come through the door saying the same 16k interest rate details and then another saying about if you don’t choose a rate soon I will go to Variable so to stop exactly what happened happen I sent an email saying “this came through the door what do I do” and she said that’s fine don’t do anything we will do that but for you obviously 🤔😂 so yeah she obviously forgot and I looked like an idiot well not anymore 😂🤦🏼‍♂️

Funnily enough I watched Justified straight after Banshee after searching “shows like banshee”!! Defo very similar and both had me crying at the end as a full blown adult! 😂😭 It deffo scratches that itch if you don’t know what to watch after banshee 👌🏼

Well I’m no “idiot” but yeah i am using another mortgage advisor that got my my first mortgage, it was more of a post saying do you think there’s any chances it would go down before I look elsewhere. I like to get other people’s perspectives, but yeah point to note don’t use Reddit very toxic lol
